Discipleship the church can actually see.
A safeguarded way to connect the people who want to grow with the people ready to walk alongside them — with leadership watching over it, not watching it.
§ 01The premise
The premise
Discipleship is the thing churches most want and least see. Relationships form quietly, or never form at all, and leaders are left hoping it’s happening. We don’t add surveillance. We add a little structure, and a little light.
Oversight, not surveillance. Structure, not noise.
§ 02For leadership
You stay responsible. We make that possible.
Church-owned identity
People are who Planning Center says they are. No parallel logins, no second directory to keep in step — your church’s record stays the source of truth.
Signed in with Planning Center
Name, suburb and age synced from your church directory
No second password. No parallel directory to maintain.
You choose who disciples
Disciplers are approved, endorsed, and accept a code of conduct before anyone can find them. Who gets to mentor is a decision leadership makes, not a box anyone can tick.
Discipler approved
Endorsed by leadership · code of conduct accepted
Only approved disciplers are discoverable.
Safeguarding is the architecture
Raising a concern routes confidentially to your admins, and every safeguarding action is written to an audit trail that can’t be quietly edited. Pairings are same-gender by default; anything else is brokered by an admin.

See the quiet ones
Pairs that have gone quiet surface gently, so a leader can check in. Light touch by design — you’re notified, you’re not asked to approve every catch-up.

§ 03For members
Find someone to walk with you.
Discipleship shouldn’t depend on knowing the right person to ask. Browse the people in your church who are ready to mentor, see what they focus on, and reach out — without an awkward cold message.
- Find disciplers who fit what you’re working through
- Send a request — they accept or decline
- Agree on a time and meet
- Keep a light record so it doesn’t drift

§ 04Connection
A good match, and an easy time to meet.
Matched on what matters
Disciplers surface by what you share — focus areas, life stage, how much time they have, in person or online, the suburb you're in. You see people who actually fit and have room, not a directory to wade through.

Built for the duty of care you already carry.
Bring it to your church.
